Hadestown Step-and-Repeat with Custom Signature Carnations

📝 The Vision

Hadestown’s branding is unmistakable — especially the iconic red carnation. When the Boch Center reached out to bring Hadestown’s visual identity to life in a photo-worthy way, we knew it needed more than a printed backdrop.

So we recreated their signature red carnation in giant 3D form, with freestanding floral sculptures designed to frame the red carpet and amplify the experience.

⚙️ The Build

Each carnation was hand-sculpted to reflect the ruffled, romantic texture of the Hadestown bloom. Made of lightweight yet durable materials, these freestanding elements were engineered for safety, transport, and quick setup inside the historic Wang Theatre.

Color match was critical — every petal was hand-painted to reflect the exact hue used in the musical’s official art.

📸 The Result

The step-and-repeat transformed into a fully immersive scene. Actors, guests, and attendees stepped into a branded floral world that photographed beautifully from every angle.
